Farmers from across India begin two-day protest march in Delhi

Thousands of farmers from across the country on Friday gathered at the sprawling Ramlila ground for a two-day protest in the national capital. Farmers representing from various organisations raised slogans like "Ayodhya nahi, karzi maaf chahiye (We don't need Ayodhya but debt waiver)" to press their demands, including loan waivers, better prices for their products and a special three-week session of Parliament to discuss the prevailing agrarian crisis in the country.
