Shreya Kumar, 23, son of the slain UP cop who is an economics graduate from Delhi University, said, “My father wanted me to work for the betterment of the nation. My father treated all faiths equally. He took four bullets in his entire service.†Subodh Kumar Singh, the SHO of Shyana police station in western Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandhshahr district, was fatally shot at a point-blank range above his left eye by a mob protesting against the alleged cow slaughter in the area.
