First Monday of Sawan 2019: Devotees throng at Lord Shiva temples

Today is first Monday of the holy month of Shravan 2019 (sawan ka pehla somwar). Devotees of Lord Shiva across India have been lining up since early morning to offer prayers to their beloved God. The month of Shravan or Sawan began on July 17 this year. Today is the most auspicious day for all Shiva bhakts as it happens to be the first Monday, which according to Hindu mythology is known as the day of Lord Shiva. Watch special report.
