Kosi River Wreacks Havoc In Nepal, North Bihar Kosi river, also known as 'sorrow of Nepal' has wreacked havoc in parts of Nepal and northern Bihar area. Due to incessant rainfall, the water level in the river has risen to a dangerous level. The increase in volume of water has led to opening of 38 out of 56 gates built in the dams on Kosi river.
