Ganga Crosses Danger Mark In Varanasi, Several Ghats Submerged

In Varanasi, Ganga has crossed the warning mark with Ghats and the low-lying areas along the river submerged in water. The Boat services have also been suspended in the city. The cremation grounds were submerged by floodwater forcing people to perform the last rituals in the narrow lanes and backyard of houses adjoining ghats in the city.
