Gorakhpur University: Clashes intensify ahead of Student Union Elections

Ahead of upcoming Deen Dayal Upadhyay (DDU) Gorakhpur University Student Union Elections, clashes broke out between two students groups inside the varsity premises. According to reports, the group clashed while campaigning for the student union elections scheduled for September 13. Soon after that police reached the spot and chased the protesters during which some of them suffered minor injuries. A heavy police force has been deployed in and around the university campus to avoid any untoward incident.
