Gujarat celebrates Navratri dancing to the tunes of Garba in colourful dresses

On the festive occasion of Navratri, dancers danced the Garba to tunes of traditional songs in colourful dresses in Ahmedabad. Navratri is considered to be one of the most auspicious time of the year. Devotees prepare for the festival for days in advance and decorate the temples and homes vibrantly. The festival is dedicated to goddess Durga and it symbolises the victory of good over evil.
