Himachal Pradesh floods: Bus drowns in Manali

A tourist bus drowned in the the Beas river in Himachal Pradesh's Manali on Sunday. The bus was parked at the Potato ground, which is sometimes used as a market. However, no loss of life was reported in the incident. Locals said they had warned the bus staff about a possible calamity, but that they ignored the warning. Heavy rains in Himachal Pradesh have claimed eight lives and injured three even as the water level in the Beas dam breached the danger mark on Tuesday.
