Honour of vote is higher than daughters’, says JD(U) leader Sharad Yadav

JD(U) leader Sharad Yadav on Wednesday stirred controversy with his remarks in Patna while addressing a gathering of people. Yadav, in a video released by ANI, is heard and seen as saying “beti ki izzat se vote ki izzat badi hai†which translates to “the honour of vote comes above the honour of daughter/sâ€.
