Independence Day: Security beefed up in Delhi, metro to run as usual

Ahead of Independence Day celebrations, security in the national capital has been beefed up. DMRC also issued an advisory for the metro commuters and clarified that the services will run as usual. However, the entry and exit at four stations of Violet Line i.e, Lal Quila, Jama Masjid, Delhi Gate and ITO will be permitted from select entry/exit Gates during the Independence day ceremony.
