India-France join hands to develop satellites for maritime surveillance

India and France on Saturday signed 14 agreements and pledged to work together so as to ensure freedom of navigation in the Indo-Pacific region. The two countries decided to step up cooperation in the space sector through maritime surveillance. India and France also agreed to work jointly on inter-planetary missions.
