Indian Navy organises two-day event in Mumbai to celebrate surgical strike

Indian Navy organised a two-day event to commemorate the second anniversary of the surgical strike carried out by the defence forces in 2016 to destroy terror camps based in Pakistan occupied Kashmir following the attack on Indian Army base camp in Jammu and Kashmir’s Uri town. The event, which took place in the Ballard Pier Cruiser Wharf at Naval Dockyard under Western Naval Command, showcased heavy weaponry and explosives through exhibition stalls. The ships were open to public and visits by school children.
