IndiGo offloads Bengaluru doctor after he complains of mosquito menace

A Bengaluru-based cardiologist, Dr Saurabh Rai, was offloaded on Monday morning from an IndiGo flight at Lucknow airport after his complaints about mosquitoes aboard the aircraft turned into an altercation with flight crew. IndiGo said he had used "threatening language" and words such as "hijack" and that they had acted according to safety protocols. According to reports, soon after entering the aircraft, Rai complained of mosquitoes and asked the crew to address the issue.
