INX Media Case: Supreme Court extends stay order on Karti Chidambaram till April 2

The Supreme Court on Monday extended the stay order given on Karti Chidambaram in the INX Media case till April 2. The Supreme Court had extended the interim protection from arrest granted to Karti till March 26 last week. The Supreme Court bench also transferred the cases pending before the Delhi High Court of Karti Chidambaram under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). Karti’s plea filed in the High Court to seek protection from arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had also been taken up by the Supreme Court.
