Jammu and Kashmir: Three Panchayat houses set ablaze

Unidentified persons on Monday night set on fire three Panchayat houses in twin districts of Pulwama and Shopian in south Kashmir. The building suffered minor damages in the fire. Tensions are underway after both local parties, National Conference and People’s Democratic Party announced that they would be boycotting the upcoming municipal, local body elections which are scheduled to take place in October.
