Jharkhand mob lynching: 11 arrested, two police officers suspended

Ten more persons were arrested and two police officers suspended in connection with the death of a 24-year-old Muslim man, who was thrashed by a mob in suspicion of theft and seen in a purported video being forced to chant "Jai Shri Ram" and "Jai Hanuman". Yesterday, one of the accused, identified as Pappu Mandal was taken into custody following the death of Tabrez Ansari, who was declared "brought dead" by doctors at the Tata Main Hospital in Jamshedpur on June 22.
