News Nation Bureau 19 April 2018, 08:45 PM
The three-judge bench of the Supreme Court on Thursday said that judge BH Loya died a natural death and that no SIT probe will be carried on in the alleged murder case. The apex court rejected a line of pleas seeking an independent probe into the mysterious death of the special CBI judge, who was hearing the high-profile Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter case. The top court said that there was no reason to doubt the statements of the sitting judges, adding that there was no merit in the petitions.
