The JNUSU president Kumar was arrested by the Delhi Police on February 12 on charges of sedition and criminal conspiracy. He is currently in Delhi Police custody and being questioned for his role in the anti-national protests at the pro-Afzal event that was organised on the JNU campus on February 9.
