Karnataka Floods: Six killed in rain-related incidents

Karnataka landslides have killed at least six people as heavy downpour continues in the state on Monday. Deputy Chief Minister Parameshwara tweeted that six people have been killed in Kodagu due to floods and landslides during the last 24 hours. Karnataka government has set 17 relief camps in the district. Army, Navy, Air force and the state government on Saturday intensified the relief operations in the state. The government has deployed as many as 948 personnel from the Army Engineering Task Force, Dogra Regiment, Indian Navy, NDRF, fire and emergency services, Home Guards and Civil Defence for the rescue operations.
