Khabar Acchi Hai: Girls in Kashmir learn art of self defence
News Nation Bureau 20 April 2018, 01:51 PM
To combat rising incidents of crime against women, Kashmir girls are learning the art of self-defence. The girls were seen training in the camp with great enthusiasm. They said they were happy that such a training session was being held in their area because earlier such camps were organised only in Srinagar. The eight-year-old girl belonging to Muslim Bakarwal community was allegedly raped by six men who had held her in captivity in a small temple village for a week in January. She was allegedly drugged so that she could be sexually assaulted again before being bludgeoned to death, according to police.
