Khabar Cut2Cut: GST collections surges to Rs 1 lakh crore in October, says Jaitley

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Thursday said the Goods and Services Tax (GST) collections in October have crossed Rs 1 lakh crore mark, adding the revenue from GST in September was Rs 94,442 crore. “The success of GST is lower rates, lesser evasion, higher compliance, only one tax and negligible interference by taxation authorities,†Jaitley tweeted.
