Kumbh Mela: Mauni Baba built Shiva Linga by 1.25 lakh Rudraksha breads
On the occasion of Basant Panchami, around 2 crores devotees participated in the third and last ‘shahi snan’ at Kumbh Mela on Sunday. The festival of Basant Panchami heralds the arrival of spring and is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the Hindu goddess of knowledge and wisdom. Meanwhile, world’s largest religious fair-Kumbh Mela hits headlines for manifesting different and unique rituals. Mauni Baba is one of the center attractions in the mela. He claimed that he has been practicing special worship of Lord Shiva for building the Ram temple in Ayodhya for years. The religious person said that he enkindled over 3 lakhs lamps (diyas) between 1991 to 2018 to please Lord Shiva praying for a temple in Ayodhya. At his Sangam Ghat camp, he built a unique Linga of Lord Shiva with the help of 1.25 lakhs Rudrakshas.
