Lakhs of devotees pay their last tributes to Jayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya

The 69th Shankaracharya Guru and head of the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham Jayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya breathed his last on Thursday. The 82-year-old was admitted to a private hospital in Kanchipuram due to breathing difficulties. Lakhs of devotees gathered at Kanchi Kamakoti mutt to pay their last tribute to Shankaracharya.
