Lucknow: Anti-CAA Protesters Vacate Clock Tower Due To COVID-19

Women protesting against the (Citizenship Amendment Act) CAA at Clock Tower in Lucknow have vacated the protest site in the wake of novel coronavirus outbreak. The Lucknow protest, inspired by the Shaheen Bagh agitation, against the new citizenship law had been on since January. The anti-CAA protesters, who continued their protest on Sunday even as India observed Janata Curfew, later in the day, vacated the protest site, saying they will be back once the situation normalises.
