Lucknow: Apple executive shot by cop

An Apple store employee was shot by Uttar Pradesh police officers allegedly for not stopping during routine check in posh Gomti Nagar area of the city. The incident occurred on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday when Vivek Tiwari was travelling in his car in Gomti Nagar Extension. The officer on patrol duty asked Tiwari to stop for check. However, Tiwari did not stop, following which police officer Prashant Chaudhary shot at him.
