After the final verdict, the Congress party has emerged victorious winning 114 seats, just two short of the majority mark in the 230-member Assembly. Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia proposed Kamal Nath's name for the chief ministerial post at Congress Legislature Party (CLP) meeting, say sources.
