Modi govt will reduce poverty to single digit in next 5 years: Jaitley

Just three days before the Lok Sabha elections 2019 starts, the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) released its much-awaited manifesto on Monday. While speaking at the event, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley hailed Modi government saying this is the first time a government in India reduced Tax. “Our objective is to reduce poverty to single digit in next 5 years and then eventually eliminate it,†says Jaitley. “Our policy to hit terror at the very point of its origin has garnered global support,†he added.
