Mumbai: Man dies after falling in an uncovered manhole

A man died after falling in an uncovered manhole in Mumbai on late Friday night. The incident took place near Kurla signal at Eastern Express Highway. A manhole was left open after construction work since few weeks and residents of the area had complained authority regarding the manhole but no steps have been taken yet. Identity of the man is yet to be ascertained. Locals said "There are several uncovered manholes in the area. We had been complaining about this since few weeks. Investigation is underway.
