National-level athlete pushed off a train

In an unfortunate incident, a national-level fencing champion was allegedly pushed off a train by the railways police in UP after he denied pay them Rs 200 as bribe. His family alleges, the RPF demanded Rs 200 to allow Singh to stay in the coach and when he refused to pay the cops assaulted him and threw him off the train. Hoshiyar Singh was returning from Mathura to his home town Kasganj. After seating his mother and wife in the women's coach, he boarded the general coach.
