Nirbhaya Case: Delhi High Court Verdict On Hanging Of 4 Convicts Today

The Delhi High Court will pronounce its verdict on the central government's plea regarding the hanging in Nirbhaya case on Wednesday. Justice Suresh Kaith, who has been hearing the case, will decide the future of the convicts. The verdict will also clarify if all guilty can be hanged together or those whose mercy petitions have been rejected can be executed earlier. On the other hand, Rapid Action Force was on Monday deployed near Shaheen Bagh area where a protest has been underway since December last year, against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
