Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation on Thursday at 8 pm over the global breakdown of COVID-19 virus. The Prime Minister Office (PMO) on Wednesday took to twitter and wrote, "PM Shri Narendra Modi will address the nation on 19th March 2020 at 8 PM, during which he will talk about issues relating to COVID-19 and the efforts to combat it." Soon after the tweet, reports floated that the prime minister might announce countrywide lockdown to prevent the spread to coronavirus.
