North Kashmir: 20 passengers injured in Uri bus accident

Over twenty passengers were injured in a bus accident in Uri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday, police said. An official said that an SRTC bus (JK01Y 0421) on way to Uri town turned turtle in Salamabad area when the driver lost control over it while negotiating a curve, resulting into injuries to 32 passengers. He said that one passenger critically injured in the accident was shifted to SKIMS Soura for specialized treatment. “Twenty injured were being treated at sub district hospital Uri while eleven were shifted to district hospital Baramulla,†he said.
