OP Rawat, former CEC, says notes ban did not reduce the use of black money

Former chief election commissioner OP Rawat said on Monday that the Modi government's demonetisation decision did not reduce the use of black money in elections. He added it was thought that demonetisation would bring down the misuse of money in elections but the poll panel's data on the seizure of money hasn't supported this contention.
