Overbridge collapse: FIR registered against officials of Railways, BMC

Mumbai Police registered a case under IPC 304-A against officials of Railways and BMC in overbridge collapse in which five persons were killed and 31 injured. Earlier, a section of a foot overbridge near a busy train station in south Mumbai collapsed during evening rush hour on Thursday. A major portion of a foot overbridge collapsed around 7:30 pm, which connected the area near the Times of India building with the iconic Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) railway station.
