Petrol, diesel price hikes again on 7th continuous day

Petrol price on Sunday increased by 33 paise a litre in Delhi and diesel by 26 paise, according to price notification issued by state-owned oil firms. At Rs 84.40 a litre in the country's financial capital, this is the highest price petrol has scaled since September 14, 2013, when it cost Rs 83.62 per litre. For a litre, in Delhi, petrol costs Rs 76.57, Rs 79.24 in Kolkata and Rs 79.47 in Chennai.
