PM Modi in Jharkhand: Congress government was least bothered about farmers' welfare

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday handed over keys to five beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in Palamu district of Jharkhand. Besides, Modi laid the foundation stone of six irrigation plans worth Rs 2,391.36 crore for the much-anticipated Mandal dam project. The dam will irrigate 19,604 hectares in Palamu and Garhwa districts. Addressing a public gathering in Palamu, the prime minister said, "Previous governments were least bothered about farmers' welfare in Jharkhand and delay in completing Mandal dam project proof of that".
