Political heat grips NIT, Smriti Irani assures safety

A day after several students at NIT Srinagar were injured in police lathicharge, HRD minister Smriti Irani on Wednesday said that they will get justice. The minister said that she has spoken to J&K chief minister who has assured safety of students. “I spoke to Mehbooba Mufti ji and she has assured me about the safety of the students. Will not let injustice happen to students,†said Irani.
