Prashant Bhushan to challenge Alok Verma's removal as CBI chief
News Nation Bureau 25 October 2018, 11:38 AM
Senior lawyer Prashant Bhushan said that he will legally challenge the government's order to send CBI director Alok Verma on leave. Bhushan termed the order illegal and claimed that Verma was removed because he involved in a feud with CBI special director Rakesh Asthana, "who was foisted on CBI by PMO despite being investigated by the CBI itself in corruption cases".
