Railway official's hands cut off by unknown assailants

Railway gateman Kundan Pathak's hands were cut off by unknown assailants after he refused to open a level crossing gate in North Delhi's Narela area. "He refused to open the gate because the train was approaching" according to a railway official. Bike-borne assailants attacked him till he collapsed. He has now been shifted to Saroj Hospital, Rohini, where he is currently undergoing a major surgery.
