Sach Bolega: Disturbing sex-ratio in India raises alarm bells!

The present ratio sets off alarm bells for the government that has initiated the ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ (Save girl child) campaign. According to a report released in 2014, the situation has deteriorated with the passing years. There were 976 girls for 1,000 boys in the year 1961. By 2011, the number of girls had reduced.
