The Signature Bridge was inaugurated by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on November 4. Built over river Yamuna, Signature Bridge is said to reduce the travel time between north and northeast Delhi, also sharing the traffic burden of the Wazirabad bridge. Over 140 'challans' were issued on Tuesday for various violations at the newly-constructed Signature Bridge, the Delhi Police said and asserted that they are working on making the flyover safer for commuters.
