Speed News: Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy wins floor test as BJP walks out of Assembly

The newly sworn-in Congress-JD-S government on Friday passed its first litmus test Chief Minister Kumaraswamy proved trust vote on the floor of the House in Karnataka. The Congress-JD-S coalition government got 117 votes (JDS 37, Congress 78 and two others) in its favour after the BJP walked out of the House. Kumaraswamy and his deputy - G Parameshwara of the Congress were sworn in on Wednesday at a ceremony that turned into a grand spectacle of unity by leaders of regional parties of various hues.
