Following heavy rainfall, while a major portion of a road caved in in Himachal Pradesh's capital Shimla on Tuesday, weather office issued a warning of heavy downpour in Uttrakhand over the next three days. On one hand, inclement weather situation threw normal life out of gear in several parts of the country, violent protests by the Maratha community over reservation continued to escalate further.
