A day after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) took over the probe in Unnao gang rape case, the Allahabad High Court on Friday sought detailed report from the Uttar Pradesh government regarding the same. The court has directed the government to submit the report by May 2. Last year on June 4, a 17-year-old girl was allegedly raped by BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar at his residence, where she went with a relative to seek a job. CBI has detained the accused MLA and brought him to its Lucknow office for questioning. Sengar, however, has not been arrested yet.
