Chennai Super Kings (CSK) marks its return following a ban of two years, and they have got their talisman, the captain cool Mahendra Singh Dhoni back amongst their ranks. CSK would be banking on the experience and expertise of veteran Suresh Raina, while Dhoni is set to play a more important role with his batting, this time around for CSK. CSK was out of IPL for two years following the spot fixing scandal along with Rajasthan Royals for the 9th and 10th season. The selectors of the franchise retained MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina and Ravindra Jadeja for the 11th season. Under the leadership of Dhoni, Chennai Super Kings became champions twice in the year 2010 and 2011. The team even lifted Champions Trophy title twice in 2010 and 2014.
