Swachhata Hi Seva: PM Modi launches cleanliness movement for cleaner India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday launched the 'Swachhata Hi Seva' movement, fulfilling Mahatma Gandhi's dream of a cleaner India. The 'Swachhata Hi Seva' aims to ensure a high standard of cleanliness across the country. The development came ahead of Mahatma Gandhi's 150th birth anniversary on October 2, 2019. It is also celebrated as 'Gandhi Jayanti'.
