Thousands throng at BJP office to pay last respect to Manohar Parrikar

The last rites of Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar will be performed at Miramar on Monday evening. Parrikar, 63, died at his private residence at Dona Paula near Panaji on Sunday after a prolonged illness. Thousands of people thronged at BJP office in Panaji to pay last respect to Parrikar. A four-term chief minister and former defence minister, Parrikar had been battling a pancreatic ailment since February last year.
