Uttar Pradesh: Mayawati slams UP govt’s handling of lockdown

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati on Saturday slammed the Uttar Pradesh government over its handling of the migrant situation in the state in wake of the coronavirus lockdown and said that a large number of qualified migrants are “digging holes under MNREGA after failing to find proper employment opportunities upon their return to the state”.She urged state governments to make sure employment opportunities are provided to migrant workers in their home states so that they don’t have to leave their homes again looking for work. #Coronavirus #Mayawati #Migrants
