Vibrant Gujarat Summit: IAF Paratrooper injured after hard landing caused by faulty parachute

One of the Indian Air Force (IAF) Paratrooper has been injured due to a hard landing caused by a faulty parachute at the display at Swarnim Park in Gujarat capital, Gandhinagar. At the inaugural ceremony of Vibrant Gujarat Summit on Monday, The paratrooper from IAF Aakash Ganga team was injured when the canopy of the parachute collapsed at low level due to wind shear resulting in a high rate of descent in the terminal phase of flight.
