Maharashtra’s Badlapur hit headlines after a Mahalaxmi Express carrying 700 passengers has been stuck in heavy floodwaters near Vangani. The massive rescue operations have been launched by Indian Air Force, Army, Navy, NDRF, Maharashtra Police, local agencies and volunteers. All the passengers were safely rescued.
